SFN member Origin Logistics, international freight forwarder in Istanbul, recently shared some of its charitable activities.

Yuksel Kahraman, Managing Partner, told us more:

"We at Origin logistics try to create value, just as much as our commercial activities. One of our biggest goals is supporting the children who will build our future.

We support at global level, UNICEF, the world’s leading advocate for children. We also support locally the Darussafaka Society, which was founded in 1863 with the aim of providing equality of opportunity in education to needy, talented children.

The way we support is we choose to not buy promotions to distribute our clients and our logistics partners, instead of that, we bought Unicef’s and Darussafaka’s books as a contribution to their funds.

Origin Logistics encourage students to get prepared not only for professional life but for the social life as well. We are the official sponsor of sports clubs such as the volleyball, football and handball teams of Dokuz Eylül University, Maritime Faculty. This is the most reputable Maritime Institution in Turkey. All of our co-founders and most of our staff graduated from here!"
