SFN Member in Indonesia Moves Mining Machinery Parts

PT. Asia Grow Logistics, SFN Members in Indonesia, recently shared the projects they completed at the end of 2016 and early 2017.

Abung B. Suryaputra, General Manager, gave some more details:

"PT. Asia Grow Logistics is undertaking its final major projects of 2016 and early 2017 for two important companies:

1. Moving heavy equipment and mining machinery parts for PT. J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (J Resources) - a listed Indonesian company which owns and manages gold mining and other precious metals businesses in the Australasian region.

2. Moving cargo for PT. Thiess Contractors Indonesia (Thiess Indonesia), a subsidiary of Thiess Pty Ltd, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of CIMIC Group - one of Indonesia’s largest private contractors working in the resource, process engineering, infrastructure, and power sectors.

PT. Asia Grow Logistics is handling the movement of cargo from various suppliers on Java Island, to their sites on Bitung-North Sulawesi Island and Balikpapan-East Kalimantan, eastern Indonesia. Services delivered to these companies includes collection, stowage, loading at origin port and lashing; and unloading at destination port, and delivery to sites along with surveying and supervision.

We accomplished the project of J Resources at November 30th, 2016 and Thiess Indonesia at 15th of February 2017. All cargo was loaded on a chartered vessels bound for Bitung, North Sulawesi and Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.

As a result of the resurgence in mining, oil and gas, construction, energy and other key sectors in the last quarter of 2016, PT. Asia Grow Logistics anticipates involvement in many more such project movements in 2017. With its dedicated projects team, experience in complex inbound customs processing, close relationship with Customs, vessel owners and port operators, even delivery to sites in the remoter islands of Indonesia will present no problems.
