SFN Meeting A Roaring Success

Our 4th meeting in Thailand was wonderful. From the first Karate chop, to the last hug goodbye, everybody was energised with positivity and a sense of camaraderie.

The setting was stunning.

There’s always such a profound sense of familiarity amongst the regular attendees, who readily extend an open-armed welcome to all the newer delegates. The cohesion amongst our group is palpable, our event always an opportunity to strengthen the newer and older bonds further. The sense of family which is derived from this togetherness is special in an often hostile world.

THANK YOU to everybody that attended and contributed to making our event so amazing. We captured a great photo here:

You can view more photographs from the event here.

Over the next weeks, videos will appear on our SFN YouTube Channel. Look out for the footage from the charity donation particularly, as that was very special.

Take a look at what we posted throughout the event on the SFN Facebook Page and SFN Twitter Account. Please tweet, like and share. Plus add your meeting photos to our Facebook page.

SFN Members swung into action on Wednesday morning at the annual golf game, organised by Tim Taylor from WWLP in USA. Around twenty golfers participated and Oliver from Switzerland won. Congratulations to you, Oliver.

All the members who attended the martial arts team building session had fun kicking ass. Everybody recommends you join us for the session next year.

With the raffle and auction combined, I am delighted to announce that our generous delegates raised $3000 for the Father Ray Foundation. Some of the children came to collect the money we’d raised, which made the donation even more special.

Derek, who collected the donation, wrote the following email to me today:

“Once we carried all the gifts to the pick-up the children all agreed to hand them in and then select one, so that the others could be divided among the other children. The 'girly' gifts I will be taking to the Village tomorrow morning as we have many young girls who I know will love to play with all those dolls. The Australian toys will be given to the toddlers at the Day Care Center. The money you donated, 106,000 Baht, will be going to our school uniform appeal as we are now in the summer holidays and the children go back to school on the 15th May, and they all need two uniforms, Scout kit, sports wear and a school tunic shirt. “Once again Kelly, thank you very very much.”

Thank you so very much to everybody who brought gifts and bought raffle tickets. The kids in Pattaya will appreciate your kindness, as do I.

Thank you to the following members for your wonderful feedback; a small selection is below:

It was great to see so many of you meeting Socrates from Airates; you can email him here to follow up on the system: sp@airates.com. Airates is currently FREE for all SFN members, take him up on this generous offer and get involved. What a great way to link the members together, everybody I spoke to was impressed by the systems Socrates is offering and many people have already signed up.
