Logimar, SFN member in Italy, recently handled a special transport to Venice for an important luxury brand.

Marcello at Logimar told us more: "We at Logimar handled a very special transport for a major couture brand, from Paris to San Marco Square in Venice.

This was a new challenge at the beginning of December 2019 for the Logimar special cargo team. Logimar was nominated as strategic logistic partner for the entire logistics supply chain, including the installation and positioning of merchandise, in one of the most beautiful shops in Piazza San Marco - Venice, for and on behalf of one of the most important luxury fashion brands in the world.

Thanks to the Logimar team's professionalism, all the logistics were managed smoothly. The project consisted of collection of the goods in the heart of France, through a dedicated truck, delivery through a geared barge in the ancient heart of Venice, and positioning and installation of the new furniture inside the shop. Everything during only the night.

All the works took place during two consecutive nights, with a team of 8 people, who manually transported, lifted, unpacked, positioned and installed the new furniture. At the same time, the old furniture was duly re-packed and, with the same care, and returned back to France in order to be reconditioned.
