SFN Members in Canada and China Share Flawless Operation

AT&L Canada recently shared their latest project completed with a fellow SFN member.

Marie-Christine Gaudreault, Business Development Director, told us more:

“We are proud to share with you our latest project which we managed late December 2018 in collaboration with our SFN Partner Shanghai Daseair Int'l Logistics in China.

Our mandate was to provide a turnkey door to door operation for the movement of a flight simulator from Canada to China. Our Aerospace division chartered an Antonov 124-100 in order to complete this monumental task.

Since this movement occurred in the dead of winter, our project manager made special arrangements to store the units, which required 4 double drop trailers Out Of gauge, airside pending the arrival of the charter at YMX airport. The entire project was handled at temperatures below freezing point with our Canadian freezing rain and snow fall.

The quick thinking of our Charter manager to secure the freight airside proved invaluable as the day of the landing and loading, the Montreal region was hit by a snow storm and the department of transport would have surely grounded the equipment as OOG orders are NOT permitted on roads during white out conditions.

The complete project commenced the 28th of December and the final in house delivery to the customer was completed on 4th January, exactly on time.

A flawless operation!”
