Jutlandia Terminal, SFN members in Denmark, have shared one of their recent shipments:

Maiken Spangsberg Thygesen, Logistics Coordinator, told us:

"Jutlandia Terminal provides full service to the offshore industry. In this occasion the customer Noble was to have a special hose, used in the drilling and service industries, transported from one rig to another.

The hose is special designed and manufactured to resist extremely high pressure and is part of the drilling equipment on a rig.

 
The hose was back loaded in a basket from the drilling rig Noble Sam Turner and sent to Jutlandia Terminal in Esbjerg. The customer requested Jutlandia to make a wooden box in ISPM 15 wood, which were able to withstand transport to another rig in Canada. Jutlandia fabricated the box and installed the hose cf. lifting instructions in force and the equipment was prepared for further transportation. The hose was shipped with an ocean vessel in a 20 foot open top container to a drilling rig near Canadian Coast, all coordinated by Jutlandia."
