Origin Logistics, SFN Members in Turkey, announced their recent project shipments to the network:

Metin Elmas, Mersin Operation Manager, said:

"We are proud to share our most recent shipments with our SFN partners, as well as ongoing regular heavy and project shipments such as excavator traffics, handled by our Izmir Office.

Origin were nominated to perform freight transportation of a new excavator loading from Mersin to Durban.

With our specialized team’s interventions and contributions to the loading stuff of the port, Smooth lashing and tarpaulin processes were completed without any problems.  

Another of our another heavy cargo projects is handled as breakbulk, from Gemlik port, Turkey, to door Houston. The cargo was moved to Gemlik port by special heavyweight trucks with the required trailers.

45 tons / 15 tons / 2 pieces whole cutting machine was placed in to the vesssel’s hold, in custody of our expert team members. We worked together with one of our allies, to perform a door-to-door operation, including the discharge at customer’s yard.

And our latest Project shipments, totally fitted to 15*40’ flat rack containers, 6*40’ open top containers, plus, two 20’ standard containers.

The cargo was moved from Korea and Japan to Uzbekistan via Mersin. The shipment contained several pieces of equipment and pipes for a power plant located in Uzbekistan. Goods loaded in Korea & Japan partially, but transhipment took place as a single party, directy to the consignee.

We managed the unlashing, transferring to the trucks of the products and lashing and dunnaging process. Also we fully provided the transit custom formalites."
